Have some faith. I'm sure they'll pull it off. I don't think it'll be as easy as it was in Ass Creed, i think it'll be very "Drake-like" and not perfect.
I didn't have a problem with the climbing in Ass Creed myself. But then again i love all types of platforming from easy platforming (ass creed), to the diffuclt (mirrors edge).
Hey it works though doesn't it? For my money barely any game now a days innovates, merely recycle (aka refine) other idea's in previous games. "Not being imaginative" is also subjective but other than that it was a decent review. I actually used to read this guy's "reviews" for a game before he got picked up by crispy gamer. Back when he used to base games off of a 1 hour sitdown time and say if he would continue playing it or not.
Edit: This was meant to be ...
Masterful interview. One of the best i've read in months. It hits on so many things that i don't know exactly else to add in my comment besides the original was awesome and the 2nd one is shaping up to be even better. Having never played a Jak game or even hearing of Naughty Dog even though i had a PS2, their efforts with Uncharted made me a fan and a believer in them.
One little other comment, i do think this could be a very good girlfriend game. Luckily my girlfriend actually ...
It was actually a pretty good review. If you spend time to i don't know, maybe read it. You'd see that he doesn't have that many gripes with the game. And based on the review it seems like he's only reviewing the single player portion, no mention of online. For some people this is unacceptable for others not so much. I'm in the not so much category. It gives a good peak at the single player portion of the game. His gripes are minor things that i don't mind at all, like glowing eyes being prac...
I completely agree with you. I was one of the few people that liked the single player for the game. The train station level was incredible and my heart didn't pound that hard in a LONG time. "Hey Faith a train is coming, get your ass out of there". The ending could have been better and solved more but overall it was a pretty good game. There shouldn't have been any guns in it to begin with (there probably wasn't for a long time) but it's just one of my little quibbles.

No love for Echochrome? I personally love that game and i usually hop on that game first after a long day or when i have something on my mind.
Oh god. The sequel to my favorite game of this gen is looking incredible. You guys should really read that one blog on gametrailers about what they saw from ND and Unchsrted 2. The new stealth mechanic sounds awesome and they said it'll have more animations. Oh man, i'm loving what i'm reading. This might surpass GoW3 on my most wanted list to take the number 1 spot.
Sorry but i'm a bit of a Uncharted fanboy. I just totally love the original. Best new IP i had played since the or...
It's not that hard to do. I first played MGS3, then went back and played MGS2. And i understood things perfectly (more or less). So i'm sure i'll be able to comprehend the story in Mass Effect 2 if it was to come to the Ps3.
I hope this is real. Mass effect along with Ninja Gaiden 2 and Splinter Cell are my main reasons for wanting a 360. I'm sure i'll end up getting a 360 anyway sometime down the road but mass effect 2 coming to the Ps3 could save me more money for a little while.
I wasn't trying to be snippy. Just trying to make things a little clear since you know some people on this site don't know how sense sarcasm/jokes.
I live in Manhattan. Why do you ask? My comment was purely satirical if you were wondering.
The power of the Swartz.
Diamond encrusted with sterling silver controllers. I guess the color would be "Oh my gawd the reflection is blinding".
I used to be scared as sh*t of mirrors because of him *Laughs my ass off*. Seriously, going to the bathroom in the middle of the night for me used to be a nightmare. I didn't get over my fear of mirrors until i turned 12 because of that movie. I remember when my aunt first popped the movie into the old VHS and she said the movie name was "Candyman" and she said it was scary. I said "How scary can someone named candyman be?".
Maybe. But then again Gaia said in the extra's that Kratos's brother hates him. I doubt he would even act like he wanted to join and help you out.
God no. Please don't true to shoehorn online into GoW3. I think it's one of those games that should be single player only. Call me old fashioned but i'd take a great single player over a good single player and mediocre online.
Hell that's one of my gripes with GTA4. They tried to do too much for the online portion, they should have just used those resources for the single player.
As was scared as sh*t of the candyman when i was younger.
I don't quite get it. Even while some reviewers are saying the lack of coop brings it down in overall score (which i agree with is dumb) the game is STILL getting 9's out the wazoo. Be glad.
That's definitely true that it's a difference between biasness and opinion. I think for the most part, most credible journo's try to handle things as subjective as possible while saying what they think. Biasness in reviews is one thing along with personal taste. It still comes down i think to the "human factor". People like different things and while some people will overlook some things, others will dig heavily into them. Even the best reviewers, enthusiasts or whatever you want to...
Great point ProArchy. I actually forgot all about the "fry it" tag it got once i actually started reading the review. Actually that's quite try that it at least warrants a try it tag in the context of how warm a reception the actual review was written in.
